OUR MONTH ON INSTAGRAM: November

Welcome to our last post of the month; a look back at what we've done through our Instagram's eyes. November's been another busy month for us here at Eleven Oh Seven, both work-wise and play-wise too! 

We're slowly getting back into blogging, with our posts this month being more beauty-based. This was kicked off with an invite to Lush Cardiff for their Christmas blogging event. Read all about it here to see their new products and what we got!  Things are getting so Christmassy around town and in stores too: the arcades always look lovely, especially at night!

This month also saw the opening of H&M's brand new store in Cardiff, which is now the biggest in the UK! We went along to the launch evening and were treated to 20% off and an amazing performance by Ella Eyre. K also attended the gorgeous local store, Renate's birthday party to celebrate their first year in business. We bought a few things and popped them into a haul post for you - have a look at it here.  We're also in love with S' new wallpaper that Turner Turner designed - such a cute set-up!

OUR MONTH ON INSTAGRAM: October

Happy Halloween!

We can't quite believe it's already the end of October, the time seems to be really flying past now we're back at Uni full-time. We've had a hectic month with work, presentations and deadlines but made some time for ourselves too - read on to see our month through our Instagram: @eleven0hseven.

 This month we themed our posts around Halloween, with an alternative costume themed post (including Lauren Conrad's Mary Poppins idea above) and a Halloween make up post to give both us and you some inspiration for the holiday.  As we mentioned earlier, we've been super busy with Uni, so spending days at home working in our PJs has been a regular routine for us!

Along with working hard, we've made sure to treat ourselves too (an essential for post-deadline celebration) and in the form of desserts no less! Bunkhouse in Cardiff not only has the cutest interior ever, but also Nutella hot chocolates to die for. We highly recommend this place for the chilled out vibe and gorgeous treats. K also went to Roath Farmer's Market this month and had to sample something from Pwdin Cart's amazing selection of cakes and desserts. How nice is their packaging too?!

We hope you've enjoyed your October and welcomed the changing of the seasons as much as we have - hello warm coats! - and are looking forward to November with us. We'll see you soon for a post all about what the new month has in store for Eleven Oh Seven.

OUR MONTH ON INSTAGRAM: September

It's hard to believe that September has come to an end and that Autumn is fully on its way! This month has been another busy one for us, with S moving back to Cardiff and both starting our final year at University. The Rugby World Cup has also taken hold here with plenty of tourists around and adding to the overall buzz of the city which is great!
 Here's our month on Instagram:

With our theme of the month being Changing of Seasons, we blogged about our Autumn boot obsessions, gave a run-down of our Lush beauty haul and showed you some key beauty looks from the AW catwalk to be rocking this season. We were also crushing hard on all the amazing dresses worn to the VMAs and loved Lauren Conrad's runway show at NYFW.

September has also been the month of baking obsession for us - you'd have to be living under a rock to escape the Great British Bake Off here in the UK and we can't get enough of it! To curb our cravings, we visited Coffee Barker, which is a perfectly 'Instagrammable' place in itself, Waterloo Tea Gardens and reminisced on our trip to London. We also popped into Home by Kirsty, (which is just opposite Coffee Barker in Cardiff if you fancy a visit) and of course, wanted to buy everything.

OUR MONTH ON INSTAGRAM: August

August has been a pretty hectic month for us both here at Eleven Oh Seven, with a trip to London (watch out for a blog post on that soon!) and our first blogger event in the calendar. Here's a glimpse of this crazy month through our Instagram account.

With August being our last month of the summer break away from Uni, we decided to make the most of it by exploring new local places, like Little Man Coffee Co (an amazing coffee shop in Cardiff) and Duffryn Gardens, as well as more further-afield places like the cute village of Lacock and the big smoke: London.

This month also saw our Late Summer Dreaming themed posts. With a new academic year approaching we began to look at home decor inspiration for our student spaces, which we are super excited to make our own. As well as decor, we began to think about the transition from summer to autumn and the new fashion trends that are coming our way, both in the form of casual fashion and  workwear. We cannot forget about our stationery post - with some of the products featured already on the way to us! Oops!

OUR MONTH ON INSTAGRAM: July

The end of July has come marking the half way point of the summer for us, so we wanted to recap with photos through the eyes of our Instagram account!

This month has been filled with celebrations: from birthdays to hen parties we have been busy spending this month with our loved ones. This month's theme has been all about Summer Celebrations, with posts ranging from throwing a Summer BBQ to Dinner Party tips.

As well as celebrating different occasions this month, we've been enjoying our summer working and relaxing. This month has also seen us plan our outfits for weddings we will be attending in August, so we decided to use the information we collected while doing our research and create a few wedding guest inspired posts: from hair and beauty to outfit inspiration.

JAM-PACKED JUNE

We are pleased to say that we're closing this month at Eleven Oh Seven on a sunny note as it is 26°C in the UK today! June has been the first official month of our Summer break, which means for most of the month we've been in separate parts of Wales. That hasn't stopped us from communicating at least once a day and meeting up twice in the same month.

June has been jam-packed for us here at Eleven Oh Seven, being all about Summer Getaways. With posts including our dream destinations, vacation style, holiday essentials and the swimsuit edition to get you in the mood for a summer holiday (or in our case, making us jealous of the fact that we weren't on one). We also celebrated Fathers Day in the middle of June and created a gift guide: because we all know how hard it is to buy for our fathers!

June has also given us plenty of time to take a well-deserved break from our Uni work, inspiring re-designing of our rooms at home and baking (look at these mini Victoria sponges S made: move over Mary Berry!) The sunshine this month also encouraged us to get out and eat al fresco down at Cardiff Bay, a must-do in this gorgeous weather! You may have also noticed a slight change in our post-days: now we're officially not housemates any more, *sniff* organising time to blog has become more difficult. We announced that our new post days will be Wednesday and Sunday, as we find we always make time on a Sunday to read others' blogs, so why not do the same with ours!

THE MONTH OF MAY

May has been a roller coaster month for us, with our last University deadline of the year, saying goodbye to our housemates and making plans for our long summer break.

We wanted to round up this amazingly busy, fun (and a little sad) month through some of our Instagram photos, so enjoy!


This month has been extremely food orientated for us here at Eleven Oh Seven, with the help of Because Of The Times and her University bucket list which included many places to eat in Cardiff. We took trips to new places (Five Guys and Bar 44) and visited favourite of ours: Barker Tea Room as well as taking a little trip to the super cool Street Food Circus:

As well as eating the month away, we also bid a tearful farewell to our housemates and the place we called home for the past year. Before we did that we made sure to send quality time with each other which resulted in a shopping spree and haul. We documented our desk/bedroom decor with a post showing you how we decorated our work space this year, and created a post with 10 things we'll miss about living with our besties.

We hope you enjoyed Eleven Oh Seven this month as much as we did! We're looking forward to June with a summer inspired theme, which we will announce on Sunday via our Instagram page.

APRIL ADVENTURES

The end of another month brings us to another look back at our Instagram! Since we've been enjoying our Easter holidays this month, our posts show our life with some more time off, and in the well-needed sunshine!

April was an exciting month for for us here at Eleven Oh Seven, with us creating our first ever mini-series called Festival Friday. With Coachella giving us major festival style inspiration, we covered Beauty looks, festival style we love and our top festival essentials. We also topped up on some of our beauty favourites ready for our summer make up and beauty must haves. 

Between dreaming of Coachella, we celebrated Easter this month by painting eggs (with glitter of course!) and eating our body weight in chocolate. This month K also went to see her first love Ben Howard in Cardiff and spent a few days in Brussels for a mini city break (blog post to follow soon!)

At the end of the month we were reunited with our house-mates after our Uni Easter break and celebrated with cocktails and cheesecake inside a genuine campervan at Apple Jacks Cardiff.

MARCH MADNESS

As March comes to a close, we look back at the first glimpse of Spring though our Instagram's eyes.

The month began with a big University deadline which we celebrated with a launch party at Buffalo bar in Cardiff. We created a Mothers Day Gift Guide to help each other with ideas for the perfect Mothers Day gift.  S also showed us around Paris with her 48 Hours in Paris post. Mid-March saw the changing of the seasons: Spring had sprung which made us think about our beauty regimes with K talking about her Hair Essentials to us receiving a Tweet from Liz Earle herself (you can imagine the excitement)!
The end of March at Eleven Oh Seven was all about Easter with two Easter-themed posts: a style guide and a favourites post. Here are some images to help sum up this busy yet exiting month:

We also welcomed in Spring with dreaming about fresh flowers, celebrating International Women's Day with this gorgeous type-quote from Harley Quinn & Co and treating ourselves to some amazing waffles at Kaspa's Desserts in Cardiff.
