AUTUMN WINTER COAT INSPIRATION

Hello Everyone
It's official, coat season is upon us. In the last week Wales has experienced freezing fog, torrential rain and bitterly cold wind.  Winter has most definitely arrived in the last seven days. For me, as someone who feels the cold, coats and jackets are a must over the winter months. I've spent the last few weeks browsing the high street in search of a new winter coat/jacket. Today I wanted to share with you my favourite styles ruling the rails this season.

1. ASOS
2. Topshop
The puffer coat is one of the most popular trends this winter. I love how warm and cozy it looks, like you are wrapping yourself in a duvet. Choosing the perfect one for you will be easy as there are so many out there to choose from. Khaki to red, long to short  - there is something for everyone. My favourite is the navy one from Topshop.

3. ASOS
For a smarter coat this winter the woolen trench is still the number one choice. The tailored cut of the coat creates the ultimate girl boss outfit, perfect for those cold yet dry days during winter. This grey one from Topshop has gone straight to the top of my wish list.

Who doesn't like a shearling jacket in the winter, it's just like being wrapped in a blanket all day. I am loving the way the high street are experimenting with different colour ways for the classic jacket. My favourite is the khaki one from Marks & Spencer.

I hope this post has got you as excited as I am for coat season.

See you Sunday for another Halloween inspired post.

NYFW: Our Street Style Favourites

Hello everyone!

September is here, meaning one thing for fashion-lovers everywhere: it's the month for fashion weeks across the globe. Starting in New York, on to London, then Milan and Paris, we can't wait to see what next season's trends will be!  This week, it all kicked off with NYFW and while we're still obsessing over all the collections (check back next week for our NYFW show favourites!), we've also been coveting the ultra-cool street style. See our favourites below.

I love everything about this outfit, even down to the choice of sunglasses. The white frilled top tucked into a printed short creates a clean crisp outfit white the black lace up boots adds some edge to the outfit. I can't wait to re-create this outfit!

This outfit screams fashion week, the way that each element of the outfit is put together is very creative. I adore the blazer: it takes this outfit to another level of 'chic-ness'. I am also currently coveting this style of calf length boot. The striped detail on the boot and blazer ties the accessories and outfit together perfectly.

As you can see from my choices in this post I am loving the colour white. There's something so clean and refreshing about the colour. This ankle length top is very different from the previous white top I have talked about. This top paired with a pair of light wash, straight legged jeans create a casual yet striking outfit.

This outfit is so simply put together, but so bold and I just love it! The green midi-length sweater style dress looks so casual and very 'street style'. The way it's styled with black accessories: backpack, heeled Chelsea boots and round sunglasses makes this outfit look so effortless.

Another casual look to contrast S' tailored street style loves, this outfit is very laid back and casual, but made by the patterned top and accessories. Red nails match in with the splashes of red in the top design, along with the mix of gold and silver jewellery. As for the bold orange sunglasses: who couldn't love them?!

I adore this outfit that Jamie Chung wore to the Cushnie et Ochs show this week. The patterned pleated skirt layered under the subtly cut-out black blouse and paired with black accessories is so understated but creates a classic and chic look. The metallic sheen to the skirt and the heel of the shoes really adds another element to the outfit.

We love getting fashion and outfit inspiration from street style, and there's nowhere better to find the best street style than at Fashion Week! We hope this post has given you some outfit inspiration too.

Trend Watch: Embroidered Fashion

Hello Everyone!

One of my favourite trends that is currently dominating the high street is embroidered clothing. If you have visited the high street lately or scrolled through ASOS, you will have most definitely seen this eye-catching trend. I’ve been loving seeing this fun trend circulating Instagram and Pinterest and couldn’t wait to try it out myself.

I first purchased an embroidered bomber jacket. I fell in love with this River Island jacket as soon as I saw it! The embroidered roses bring life to the jacket and turn it from a staple piece of clothing into a statement piece. The dark red colour of the roses against the satin material makes this jacket perfect for the upcoming autumn and winter months.

After buying my bomber jacket, I couldn’t wait to add to my embroidery collection. These Topshop mom jeans are the perfect pair for me; I had been looking for a pair of boyfriend jeans for months so you can imagine my excitement when I spotted these embroidered ones! I love how the floral detail is on both the top and the bottom of the leg, as if the flowers were growing up the leg. These jeans are so easy to wear, paired with a tucked in white top and trainers it's the ideal weekend outfit.

I have a feeling that these two items of clothing will not be the only embroidered garments I will indulge in buying this season. I just love the extra detail embroidery adds to my wardrobe!! Let us know if you're loving the trend and which embroidered items you've spotted in the high street.

Until Sunday,
